Reminder: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Starts Today

I set my alarm for 7:00 a.m. and left a note on my dining room table so that I wouldn’t forget to purchase the Badgley Mischka Turnlock Satchel online as soon as the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale items were available.  Well, one trip to the other room to get my wallet later and the item was no longer available.  I repeat, the item that was in my cart was no longer in stock when I hit submit!  Have any of you experienced that pain?  Not a good feeling!  Thankfully, I was able to recover from that trauma fast enough to call my local store and charge the bag over the phone.  And thank goodness I did.  Not only is this charcoal jewel no longer available on Nordstrom.com, but there was only one left in store. YIKES!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Starts in Two Days!

Mark your calendars, kids.  The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts at 7 a.m. EST on Friday.  I have combed through the preview catalog and the online extended version for anything that may need to join my Fall/Winter wardrobe.  There are lots of goodies, but my favorite is the Badgley Mischka satchel.  It may have a formal name but  “satchel” is all Nordstrom is giving us right now.  This structured delight is the best of the Proenza Schouler PS1 and the Mulberry Alexa in the most lovely shade of gray with a huge helping of gold hardware.  For the sale price of $298, this bag is basically the ultimate look for less and I love it!   Take a look at the full catalog online.
